AMIRI introduces the Spring-Summer 2024 campaign, documented by US-born, European-based photographer Drew Vickers at Villa Astor in Sorrento, a town on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. Depicting a spirit of travel and discovery, compositions echo this season’s story of a Californian journeying across Europe – exploring, collecting, finding inspiration.

Weaving this narrative, a cast of young dreamers and adventurers discover hidden coves, romantic scenery, and classical architecture, before sailing out in search of new lands. The mood is optimistic, expansive, and free.

All the while, the location’s landscapes and lifestyle are reflected through AMIRI’s distinctive customization and artistry. Relaxed tailoring is crafted with graphic lines as notions of Americana interweave with European high-craft. Sophisticated fabrications become softened and relaxed towards a Californian spirit, as loosely woven leather cardigans resemble home-spun crochet knits, and crystal and sequin hand-embroidery transposes the curling surf waves of Malibu to the Mediterranean. Silk scarves hang loose, and studio scraps are hand-sculpted into ornate leather lapel flowers. Evolving the story, open-weave raffia beach bags are threaded with repurposed bandanas and classic boat shoe silhouettes are hybridized with skate sneaker soles.
