PRE-SPRING 2025 CAMPAIGN
"HOLLYWOOD BREAKFAST CLUB"
Inspired by the timeless cultural iconography of John Hughes’ seminal 1985 movie ‘The Breakfast Club’, AMIRI’s Pre-Spring 2026 campaign pays homage to the universal narrative of this modern Hollywood classic - and to youth, in all its contradiction.
Shot on location at John Marshall High School in Los Feliz — an emblem of Los Angeles’ cultural landscape and a backdrop to countless cinematic moments, from Space Jam to Grease — spaces echoing with the languid nonchalance of a Saturday detention, the still and moving image captures a group of young dreamers. An unlikely group of personalities come together to form a collective whole - the rebel, the athlete, the artist, the romantic. A cast of distinct and unique AMIRI characters star in portraits of modern youth culture.
Each AMIRI Pre-Spring 2026 look proves a study in individuality and finds a harmony in contrast. The clashing of different styles and personas reflects the shifting identities of ever-evolving youth, and the versatility and scope of Mike Amiri’s vision. In typical AMIRI fashion, there are nods to vintage - the lived-in, loved-out styles characterize the laid-back ease of California, echoes through pre-worn leather bombers and faux fur jackets. Layers, mixing and remixing key pieces, evoke a fluid style of self-discovery, shifting between different identities and meanings. Sporty jock meets countercultural rebel meets the perfectly-dressed valedictorian – the most unlikely of comraderies.
Modern sportswear references combine with nostalgic nods to collegiate style - vintage-feel patinated leathers cut into bombers, biker jackets and hoodies, mini-skirts worn with penny-loafers, neatly knotted ties under elaborate embroidered letterman jackets, precious with embellishment and nostalgic meaning, a modern AMIRI classic. Signature AMIRI distressed denim, relaxed in silhouette, is varsity patched and pieced, paired with sports-inspired knits or twists on preppy hyper-classics. Patched and recycled sportswear pieces seem like a fusion of eras, approaches and personas, collaged to one. This wardrobe includes AMIRI icons - the timeless Pacific, Court and classic Low Top sneakers, and the Micro MA Bag. And the AMIRI logo becomes a slogan in itself, like a sports team, a school name or a rock band’s insignia, all reflective of teenage fandom, communities of the like-minded. The AMIRI MA Monogram becomes a crest, like a badge of belonging.
The refinement of AMIRI craft against the rawness of youth, the mythology of the screen meeting the real pulse of the street. Hollywood Breakfast Club celebrates a definite ideology of AMIRI - the unspoken connection between those who refuse to be defined by labels.
