AMIRI X MAISON MIHARA YASUHIRO
(PART II)
AMIRI reunites with Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO for the second chapter of their limited-edition sneaker collaboration, unveiling a new blue-and-white colorway.
Drawing from the heritage of both houses, AMIRI’s Skel Top-Low and Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO’s Peterson OG silhouettes remain the foundation for this release. The design integrates AMIRI’s signature Nappa leather “Bones” appliqué with Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO’s iconic clay-molded sole on a canvas upper. Co-branded woven and embroidered labels on the tongue and heel underscore the considered approach and distinct identities of both brands.
Drawing from the heritage of both houses, the AMIRI Skel Top-Low and Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO Peterson OG serve as the foundation for the collaborative AMIRI X Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO sneaker, paying homage to their distinct identities.
The campaign, starring Japanese rapper Jin Dogg, builds on the narrative of the original drop, blending the cultural universes of both designers through a cinematic lens inspired by Takeshi Kitano’s 2000 Japanese-American film, Brother. Atmospheric still and motion images capture countercultural tribes moving through city streets that blur Los Angeles and Tokyo, dressed in AMIRI tailoring complemented by the latest
iteration of the AMIRI x Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO sneakers– where style becomes a shared symbol of identity and community.
Continuing the legacy of its first edition, the release maintains the collaboration’s monochromatic foundations, bold structure, refined materials, and artisanal construction, embracing the spirit and aesthetics of DIY craftsmanship.
